General QUESTIONS

Ascot Education is a youth-led tutoring service offering personalised, 1-on-1 and small group tutoring in core subjects, coding, exam prep, and languages for students in Prep to Year 12 across Australia and New Zealand.

Our tutors are high-achieving university students and graduates who are trained, vetted, and supported by our founder and team. They’re relatable, passionate, and committed to delivering results.

We’re based in Australia but operate fully online to serve students across all regions. We also offer limited in-person sessions in select areas (e.g. Cranbourne, Melbourne).

SUBJECTS & PROGRAMS

We offer English, Maths, Science, Coding & Technology, Exam Prep (NAPLAN, VCE, Selective School), and Language tutoring (Arabic, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish).

Yes! We personalise our approach based on how your child learns best. We also support students with learning difficulties or additional support needs.

We tutor students from Kindergarten (Prep) through to Year 12, and offer early learning or bilingual classes for younger students.

HOW IT WORKS

All lessons are held online via Zoom or Google Meet, unless otherwise arranged for local clients. We use screen-sharing, visual tools, and interactive resources.
Yes — your first session is free! This helps us understand your child’s needs and allows you to experience our teaching style.
No problem. We offer tutor matching and are happy to change your tutor if needed — your child’s comfort is our priority.
Dropdown option: Standard lessons are 1 hour. For younger children, we may offer 45-minute sessions if better suited to their focus levels.

PAYMENT & BOOKINGS

Packages vary depending on subject, frequency, and type (1:1 or group). See our [Pricing Page] for full details.
Payments are made monthly via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. Invoices are sent with clear lesson tracking.
We don’t offer refunds, but you can reschedule sessions with 24 hours’ notice. Missed classes without notice are counted as used.
No. You’re free to pause or cancel your plan at any time with a week's notice — no pressure, no commitment.

EXAM & PERFORMANCE

Absolutely. We specialise in high-stakes exams, including NAPLAN, VCE, and Selective Entry preparation. We also offer mock tests, strategy sessions, and performance tracking.
While no tutor can promise grades, we guarantee structured lessons, consistent support, and real progress. Many of our students see significant improvements within 4–8 weeks.

PARENT SUPPORT

Yes — we provide weekly updates or monthly reports so you’re always in the loop. You’ll also have direct contact with your child’s tutor and our admin team.

Yes, just give us a week’s notice. We understand that schedules and priorities change.

TROUBLESHOOTING / TECHNICAL

No stress — we’ll reschedule at no extra cost if there’s a tech failure on either end.
We can, with your consent, especially if your child wants to review it later. Otherwise, we respect privacy and do not record by default.

OTHER

Yes — during term breaks we offer special programs for exam prep, coding, or language intensives. Join our mailing list to get early access!
We primarily operate online, but may offer in-person tutoring in Melbourne (Cranbourne and surrounding suburbs) depending on tutor availability.
